Engineering Manager/ Network Planning

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

We're looking for a Network Planning Engineer to help us continue our rapid growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of management and reporting of use of licensed and un-licensed frequencies, integration processes and core IP network utilization.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include:

Plan, manage, and report the use of licensed and un-licensed frequencies
Closely manage and report the over-subscription and utilization of the core IP network and radio access points
Manage the selection and integration process and sparing for new network hardware
Develop network reliability plans to ensure Sparkplug's SLAs are met
Drive the annual Engineering capital and operating expense effort

Requirements:

BSEE or equivalent knowledge
5+ years in a fixed or mobile wireless engineering environment
Solid understanding of both RF and IP network architecture technologies
Experience developing capital and operating expense budget models
Strong communications skills
