Sparkplug connects a University’s 28 regional distance learning campuses
A university with a long history of using the latest technologies to deliver distance learning programs has more than 25 campuses throughout the state. To support students enrolled in these programs, the university realized that they needed to create a high-capacity wide area network between campuses to support data, voice and video connectivity between these locations. Sparkplug proved to be the best choice for the university’s network, because they could deliver high-capacity services over a private wireless broadband network, with the flexibility to service each of the locations. With Sparkplug, they were able to replace their antiquated telecom services with 1.5 Mbps broadband connections to each of the locations via the carrier-grade Sparkplug network. Sparkplug broadband not only solved the university’s need for more capacity, but provided an affordable, reliable solution that is easy to scale as the university grows.
