Apco Equipment turns to Sparkplug for Internet connectivity, computer networking and telephone functions
If you’re involved in Southern Nevada’s booming construction industry, you know Apco Equipment. They deal in heavy equipment—from sales of new and used equipment to rentals, parts and service of all the top manufacturers’ products. Although Apco team members are skilled at what they do, they needed help with their company’s technological backbone, including Internet connectivity, computer networking and telephone functions.
The Challenge
Provide a comprehensive technological solution for:

The Solution
Sparkplug’s approach included a wireless and wired broadband Internet connection,
enabling an ‘always on’ computing environment. IP-hosted phone service was added
to provide the tools for managing the company’s equipment service call center, an
auto attendant greeting for routing calls, intercom capabilities between offices,
the ability to have voicemail messages delivered via email and unlimited
nationwide long distance calling. Sparkplug also installed routers and configured
office connections to improve Apco’s computer network.
